When you submit a service request, BOSS may associate that request with your customer account and maintain information concerning the requested service.

When a technician is assigned, information reasonably necessary to complete the service may be made available to the assigned technician. This may include your name, service address, contact information, service description, appointment information and relevant job instructions.

Our systems may maintain a job activity history including when a job was created, assigned, accepted, started, placed on hold, resumed and completed.

Technician Access: technicians should receive only information reasonably required to perform and document their assigned work.

5. Invoices, Payments and Receipts

BOSS may create electronic invoices associated with a customer's service request. Invoice information may include:

Customers may be permitted to upload a receipt or other proof of payment through the customer portal. Such files are used to assist BOSS with payment verification and record keeping.

Receipt Verification: uploading a payment receipt does not by itself establish that payment has been received or cleared. BOSS may verify payment information before updating an invoice as paid.

Where payment is processed through a bank, payment processor or other third-party financial service, that provider may separately collect and process information according to its own privacy practices.

6. Photos and Uploaded Files

BOSS may allow customers, technicians or authorized staff to upload images and documents connected with service delivery.

These files may include:

  • Job-completion photographs;
  • Photographs documenting installed equipment or work performed;

Depending on the features you use, these providers may include:

  • Google Firebase for services such as authentication, databases, file storage, hosting and server-side functions;
  • Resend for transactional email delivery;
  • Hosting, domain, security or infrastructure providers;
  • Payment processors or financial institutions when applicable; and
  • Other service providers reasonably necessary to operate BOSS.

BOSS does not sell your personal information to advertisers as part of the operation of the BOSS customer service platform.

Third-party services may operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Their processing practices are governed by the agreements and laws applicable to those providers.

Disabling required browser storage or cookies may cause certain account or website features to stop working correctly.

10. Data Security

BOSS takes reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

Security measures may include:

  • Account authentication;
  • Role-based access controls;
